AOC Ventoux Red
90 % Grenache 10 % Syrah
This Grenache comes from the prettiest plot of the estate. It is harvested at the very end of the harvest in order to harvest a Grenache with perfectly ripe skin and grape-stalk. Traditional (sometimes long) maceration is the method used for this wine. After the fermentations, the wines are stored in barrels for 12-months. It is at the end of this period that the 3 most beautiful pieces are selected.
The dress is a pretty garnet. The nose is complex, with notes of cherries, blond tobacco and black pepper. The mouth is full, long but without heaviness.
This wine deserves to be associated with a meat with character such as a melting leg of lamb accompanied by melting potatoes or a roast duck breast with mendiants.
