2023 – AOP Ventoux Red 75 cl
Ageing potential: 10 years
Vinification: The grapes are harvested at the very end of the season in order to obtain Grenache with perfectly ripe skins and stems. Traditional maceration (sometimes lengthy) is the method used for this wine. 80% of the ageing takes place in French oak barrels (selection of the 3 best Grenache barrels from the finest plot).
Tasting notes: Colourful, brilliant robe. Initial peaty nose, with notes of dark chocolate, Burlat cherry and Sichuan pepper.
Full-bodied on the palate. The tannins support the freshness on the finish.
Pairings: Tender leg of lamb with potatoes, roast duck breast with mendiants.
