“There’s no point in running”

“There’s no point in running” is the last of the collection. An exclusive and confidential vintage because it is produced in very small quantities.
It was only after a few years of experience that this wine was born, because as the saying puts it: “There’s no point in running, you have to start on time.”

Designation

AOC Ventoux Red

Vintage

2019

Production

2873 bottles

Grapes

70 % Syrah 30 % Grenache

Winemaking

Selection of Syrah press casks from carbon maceration. 85% of the winemaking is done in barrels for 12 months. The Grenache brings roundness and sunshine to this blend.

Tasting

The color is dark. The nose is elegant and complex. There are aromas of blackberry jam, ink or tapenade. The mouth is full, grainy but also fresh and tense, characteristic of the wines of Mas Oncle Ernest.

Food and wine pairings

It is a perfect accompaniment to game meats, duck or even a Cassoulet from the Southwest.
