“Genêt joli”

This white wine comes from the plot that overlooks the cellar. This one is planted on this famous rock called “Safre”, on which little vegetation manages to grow except the Vine and Genêt. A spectacular wedding for the eyes and taste buds!

2020

40 % Grenache White 40 % Roussanne 10 % Vermentino 10 % Viognier

Winemaking

Thanks to its proximity to the cellars, the plot is the object of all the attention. The grapes were harvested by hand. The juice is extracted directly and delicately a few minutes after picking. Fermentation is done in freshly made oak barrels. The aging is quite brief so as not to over-mark this already complex wine.

Tasting

The reflection is slightly golden. Aromas of fresh hazelnut and mocha appear on the first nose, followed by notes of Williams pear. The mouth is full, long and elegant.

Food and wine pairing

This wine can be paired wonderfully with white meats such as a veal rib with girolles or poultry like a guinea fowl supreme with morels. As for sea food, a lobster with saffron cream will sublimate this wine.
