“As farmers, we witness the changes taking place on our planet every day and we are aware of the role we have to play.”

That is why we have made strong commitments since 2012, with our conversion to organic farming as the first step.

This production method completely prohibits the use of synthetic chemicals and GMOs.

In 2019, we decided to halve the size of our vineyard to 14 hectares. That same year, we began construction of a filling, washing and phytosanitary effluent treatment area. Even with organic farming, we still need to protect our crops with products that are natural in origin but can nevertheless be toxic to the soil in large quantities.

As a result, we opted for a completely natural method of treating this effluent (sun and wind) in order to dehydrate these residues under the effect of the sun and wind.

The financial support of the European Union and the Southern Region enabled us to carry out this project.

In 2020, we decided to stop using synthetic bottle caps despite all their advantages. In order to reduce plastic pollution, we now only use natural cork caps, which are completely biodegradable.

In 2024, we once again significantly reduced the size of our vineyard, which now covers 9 hectares, a size more in line with our plans.

Recently, we have also started planting hedges in the vineyards, creating strips of vegetation around the vine plots. These hedges play a crucial role in biodiversity and also help protect the vines from the wind, reducing stress on the plants. In addition, hedges help with water management by limiting erosion and improving moisture retention in the soil. We therefore promote a balanced ecosystem, which can also improve the quality of the wine produced and promote sustainable viticulture.

All these actions have also enabled us to obtain the VALEUR PARC DU MONT VENTOUX label and thus become part of this joint sustainable development project, whose objectives are to protect and promote the natural and cultural heritage of the region.

We know that not everything is perfect, but we strive daily to improve in order to contribute to the protection of our planet.
