“Ici, le temps s’arrête”

It’s the great vintage of the estate. A red wine standing apart that is only made during the great years. From this land, the view of Mont Ventoux is exceptional!
To share among amateurs…

AOC Ventoux Red

Vintage

2018

Production

1272 bottles

Grapes

90 % Grenache 10 % Syrah

Winemaking

This Grenache comes from the prettiest plot of the estate. It is harvested at the very end of the harvest in order to harvest a Grenache with perfectly ripe skin and grape-stalk. Traditional (sometimes long) maceration is the method used for this wine. After the fermentations, the wines are stored in barrels for 12-months. It is at the end of this period that the 3 most beautiful pieces are selected.

Tasting

The dress is a pretty garnet. The nose is complex, with notes of cherries, blond tobacco and black pepper. The mouth is full, long but without heaviness.

Food and wine pairing

This wine deserves to be associated with a meat with character such as a melting leg of lamb accompanied by melting potatoes or a roast duck breast with mendiants.
